After the transfer window slammed shut earlier this month, all Premier League clubs have submitted their squads for the season. Arsenal have announced their squad for the 2022/23 Premier League season following the transfer window’s closure. After the summer window slammed shut at the start of the month, all 20 clubs in the top flight have submitted a squad list that will take them through till January.

Each club was required to submit a 25-man squad and a list of registered Under-21 players eligible for selection. Within the 25-man squads, no more than 17 overseas players could be named, with the remaining spots going to home-grown members. The likes of Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka, William Saliba and Marquinhos have not been included in the 25-long list as they are all 21 or under, allowing them to be part of the separate Under-21s player’s list.

Within that list, there are also the likes of Folarin Balogun, Charlie Patino and Brooke Norton-Cuffy – all players who are 21 or under but are currently out on loan. Arsenal’s home-grown members of the 25-man squad are Rob Holding, Reiss Nelson, Eddie Nkeitah, Aaron Ramsdale, Emile Smith Rowe, Ben White, and Matthew Smith – who is somewhat of a surprise inclusion. New signings Gabriel Jesus, Fabio Vieira, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Matthew Turner, have been included in the squad.

Arsenal will have the opportunity to update their squad after the January transfer window.
