Gibbs will join Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit Inter Miami at the end of his West Brom contract this summer. He agreed a free transfer deal in principle with the MLS club as far back as March. Inter Miami is co-owned by English football icon David Beckham.

The 31-year-old is set to embark on a new chapter in his football career after a disappointing season at West Brom. The Baggies were one of the three teams that suffered demotion from the Premier League. Apart from West Brom, Fulham and Sheffield United will also play their football in the English Championship next season.

Kieran Gibbs joined West Brom from North London giants Arsenal in the summer of 2017 and he went on to make 100 appearances for the Baggies in all competitions. He made just ten appearances for West Brom during the just concluded Premier League season with his last appearance coming in January. His last appearance for West Brom came against London club Fulhamin the Premier League as the two teams shared a four-goal thriller. Gibbs made his tenth appearance of the season for the Baggies as they were forced to a 2-2 draw at home by the Cottagers.

Gibbs and West Brom were not able to play in front of their supporters throughout the Premier League season until the final home game and he has now penned a heartfelt message to those fans as he plans to  leave the club this summer.

Kieran Gibbs has been a wonderful servant for the Baggies though he has had his fair share of injuries.
