Arsenal is preparing an offer for Real Madrid’s Karin Benzema as the Frenchman is the latest player to be added in Arsene Wenger’s wish-list. The Premier League has been suffering from consecutive failures in transfer windows as they have already tried to Benzema as well as a number of other players including: Alvaro Morata, Radamel Falcao and Edinson Cavani.
The French attacker has 1 year remaining in his contract with the Spanish club but Real Madrid is interested in signing Liverpool’s Luis Suarez and the cash injection of selling Benzema would allow them on luring the Uruguayan forward with an attractive offer.
Wenger is also interested in luring Bayern Munich’s Mario Mandzukic from the German club and considering that Robert Lewandowski will be joining the side of Pep Guardiola in the upcoming campaign, it’s fairly safe to say that Mandzukic’s place in Bayern Munich is in jeopardy.
The Brazilian forward of Athletic Madrid, Diego Costa is another tempting target but it seems like everything has been settled with him moving to the Premier League and joining Chelsea.
Arsenal has relied heavily on Olivier Giroud in this season and Wenger wants to add a reliable attacker who can play alongside the former Montpellier player or fill in the boots of Giroud whenever he gets injured.
Arsene Wenger’s desire to sign a world class striker is edging towards Karin Benzema but they will need to launch an offer in the region of €35 million in order for Real Madrid to even consider on releasing him as well as having a deal with Luis Suarez already secured.
Real Madrid on the other hand have to prepare a substantially higher offer for their summer target Luis Suarez as it will be difficult for the Premier League club on releasing their top goal-scorer of the season.
